While in Barcelona city it has risen by 91 TP6T, in the metropolitan area the increase is 5.9 TP6T and in the rest of Catalonia it is 3.5 TP6T.

The report prepared by the Generalitat uses as a source the data from the deposits made in the Incasòl, where it is obligatory to register the contracts that are signed in Catalonia. This causes these data to be far from the figures published on the real estate portals, which place the increase in the average rental price at 15 or 18%. The difference lies in the fact that these real estate portals are based on price offers and not on the price of the actual contracts.
